New Bike !!

This is my new toy !! Its a GT750, set up for touring with the fairing and panniers, and its done less that 40,000 miles !! Its had 2 owners from new, so i'm the third, but it's just a shame one of them was a butcher when it came to the wiring ! It look's like spaggetti under there :o| Thankfully a mate's a sparkey, so its gonna have a very good looking over, and hopefully a tidy up as well.
I must also say HUGE thanks to Womble and Grav, without them, i would not have got the bike, or got it home, as after one mile, it decided to die on me, but Grav got it going again.. to read more on this epic tale click here.

I'm now a very happy Pikey, and here's to a great summer :o)

Incap Medical Appeal

Had my appeal hearing today, and to say i was nervous is an understatement!

Got there at 10:30am, along with Womble, and met my legal representative there as well.

Had a chat, then had to wait to be called in. I was shaking whilst waiting, and more so when called in.

There was a lawyer and doctor there to ask the questions, and to explain what was going on. Both nice people, plain talking, and i would say good at there job.
Was asked a few questions about my daily routine ( i dont have one) about how i sleep (badly) and what i liked to do with my free time.

Answered as best as i could, and didnt hold anything back.

It was a lot shorter than i expected, and then had to leave for the doctor and lawyer to discuss what they had heard, and to make a decision.

After a very short time, i was called back in, and told that my appeal had been successful, and that all benefits would be awarded me again.

So, there it is. What i told them, and i knew all along. I'm not fit for full time employment at this moment in time.

NOW......

This does not mean i wanna sit on my arse all day watching dvd's and playing on the internet.

What it does mean is that i can now get a damn sight more help, training and advise about a gradual return to work. I do believe that the system is flawed, as if i had lost, i would have had to sign on, be forced to take a job i dont want to do, and this would have started the whole process of depression, stress and all the other systems off again !

I dont feel good for winning my appeal, nor sad. At the moment all i feel is numb.

If it was not for Womble's help, support and belief in me, I would not have done half the things i have, nor got as far as i have.

So, to end on a positive note, Womble, thank you, for all you have done for a poor messed up Pikey xXx

It seems that the couple next door were taking in there washing, just as it started to rain, seen my maiden out, so lifted the fence panel, and took it in there kitchen too stop it getting soaked !

Thats the only choice i have.

The reason for this post is that I've been having a bad day today. Feeling very shaky, not able to focus, and generally feeling very twitchy.

Now, im sure i put the drying out this morning on the Maiden, in the back garden, nothing strange there, as it was a nice sunny day :o)

As my head was well and truly fucked, i had a quick nap to try to sort it out. It didnt work, and so i was still a bit fuzzy. Then, it started to rain, so i thought i best bring in the drying...... It was gone !!

Now, i looked round the garden, checked the gates, yup, still locked, looked in the shed and the garage, nope, its gone !

Now I'm beginning to lose the plot even more, so i contact Womble on MSN, she's not sure where it was last, but says it'll turn up !

So, i therefore believe it's the work of the Pikey Pixies, and when i get the little buggers, i want all my stuff back, as my new Craghopper trousers are on there, along with my fave black shirt !

Wonder if sprinkling iron fillings around will thwart there damn magic.................

I'm gonna sit in the corner now and hug n rock myself, and maybe dribble a little...

Yup, im still around.

So, what happened since my last post well, i'll break it down for ya.

Medical: Bad.

Crackhead neighbor: bad

Mates bike attempted theft: V.bad

Crackhead Neighbor attacking me with hammer: V V.bad !

Crackhead Neighbor lobbing Brick through window: Me have a nervous breakdown !

Police response: Waste of FUCKING time !

Womble coming over at 5am: V V Good !!

Moving out in about 5 hours: V.stressful, but also Good

Taking over Womble's house with all my junk: Not V.Good

Emergency appointment with Doctor: Bad, but got tranquilizers, so Good !

Letter from DWP saying im fit for work, all benefits stopped: V.V.Bad

Womble having to take me to A&E because i was suicidal, V.V.BAD !!!

Spending 5 hrs in A&E with Crisis Team: Not all bad, as got referral to Mental Health Team.

Seeing Doctor to explain what happened day before: Good, and got a sick note for 1 month.

Going for a walk in the woods with Womble: Excellent !!

Going to Boltons Frog parade on May Day: Damn good fun :oD

Having Grav and Howard Help me with Bike: Great to have mates !

Going out on mountain bike: I really need to get fit, but fun in the sun !!

So, there you have it, i've missed some bits out no doubt, but i think you get the general idea !!

Abnormal service will continue as and when i can ;o)

Oh fuck, here we go again :o(

Even though i have filled in the forms, given evidence from my shrink, and written to them, they still insist that i have a damn medical.

The last time i had one, it was horrid. The nurse/doctor didn't seem at all interested, was hardly taking any notes and was a waste a time.

Thankfully, The interview was recorded, and BOY did that come in handy.

NONE of the answers that the bitch had wrote down were what i said, and to make it worse, she had wrote answers to questions that she didn't even fucking ask !!

And so, i the space of 10 minutes, she decided my doctor was wrong, i was wrong and i was fit for work.

The next step was that ALL my benefit was stopped, i had nothing to live on, and was very nearly evicted from the hovel i was living in.

It was only because of Womble that i got through all this, bless her !

And now, it starts all over again.

Ok, so its not man flu, but its a real stinker of a head/chesty cold !

It feels like my head is stuffed full of cotton wool, my throat and lungs a drowning in green sticky slime, and my nose has just gave up being a nose, and is just producing a hell of a lot of drippy yuck !

I think i need a large bottle of scotch, some orange juice, and Nursey Womble to make me better ;o)

Today i feel very humble.

I received a parcel today, and i had no idea what it was ! I didn't remember ordering anything of the shape or weight, but it had my name on it, so i opened it !

To say i was shocked is an understatement. Out came a wonderful hand crafted axe, complete with a quality leather mask ! I have wanted one of these since Feb this year, when i used one at a camp meet. Its a great little axe, punches way above its weight, and its quality is second to none.

So, a HUGE thank you to "Mr Axe" (not his real name) you know who you are !!

Well, I'm sick to the teeth of people around the world taking pot shots at the British, and us just rolling over and playing dead. We now have people in Africa calling for the teacher to be shot FFS !!

I'm sure they hate us so, after all, we fund them, give them aid, medical advice and services, run fund raising charities for them, etc etc
